  就在眼前，卻又離得如此遙遠。這是一場令人難忘的比賽，輸了很不甘心，但勝敗乃是兵家常事啊!

We did our best, but in vain. Back to back championship is so close, but we fail to secure it.

Last year, we were so delighted because the girls in the 222 got first place in the volleyball games. We screamed and hugged with each other. Over a year, our enthusiasm to volleyball didn’t decrease at all. When we played ball on the playground, you can learn that we were all joyful from our smile.

  We were eager to continue to win the championship in this year. For the sake of achieving this goal, we practiced a lot harder.

  Our first opponents were the girls in 219, and we defeated them easily. We used some spare time to have a friendly match with the girls in 205 and we realized they were skillful opponents. When we were in the competition with them, we were too nervous to show our actual strength. Nervous as we were, we struggled through this intense situation and beat them. Overcoming all the difficulties, we confronted the girls in 213 in the final for back-to-back championship. This time, the Goddess of fortune didn’t favor us. We lost.

  Although we were depressed, everyone in 222 came to comfort us. I knew we needn’t be too critical of ourselves for this failure. After all, we still have lots of opportunities in the future.

  I want to express my sincere gratitude to many people including teacher Gustav , Shine and class 222. The red bean cakes teacher Gustav treated us are so yummy that we felt we were in heaven. Our homeroom teacher Shine always plays volleyball with us and trains us to be better. In the end, I want to thank the classmates who always play volleyball with us and cheer us up. Meet you in the playground every day!
